Draft for the owner to review. This is not legal advice and it is not a finished contract. Have a lawyer edit it before you rely on it. Governing law and the legal entity name are still TODO.

Terms of use

Last updated 2026. These terms cover use of the PayChase website at paychase.online.

The service

PayChase lets a freelancer create an invoice, email a pay link, and send reminders. Card payments are processed by Stripe on the freelancer's own connected Stripe account. PayChase does not take an application fee on those payments. A Pro subscription, if the freelancer starts one, is billed separately by Stripe to PayChase.

Accounts

You need a password and a verified email. You are responsible for activity under your password. You must connect a Stripe account that you are allowed to use, and you must not send invoices for work you did not do.

Payments

Stripe's terms apply to Checkout, Connect, and Billing. PayChase marks an invoice paid when Stripe reports a matching payment or when you mark it paid yourself. A query string on the pay page is not a receipt.

Acceptable use

Do not use PayChase to spam, phish, impersonate someone else, or collect payments you are not entitled to. Sending is limited by plan, and we can refuse service that threatens the sending domain or other users.

Availability

The service is provided as available. TODO: the owner should add a warranty disclaimer and a liability cap that their lawyer agrees with, plus the governing law and venue.

Contact

TODO: replace this with a monitored address. Draft contact: hello@paychase.online.
